Item details: A lovely set of 8 oak gothic style early 19th century chairs with 2 carvers. Some fine detailing and nicely carved backs which include turned columns and arches. All chairs benefit from a all round stretcher that gives extra strength. 1 carver has been recently recovered in a material that is a close match but not identical (see pics).
